jason , thanks for the list

Everyone else: before playing with these backup all your contacts, etc, just in case you have to do a hard reset.
And remember that if you have to then it's no-one else's fault but your own.  Tongue

These are Samsung test codes...  They WILL NOT work on other brands.. Any posts asking why they don't work on another brand will be considered off topic and deleted..

*#0002*28346# - Audio control utility.

when microsoft sent out the update for the diagnosis app this number to the sound tuning changed the last number from a 6 to a 5...so should be *#0002*28345#

I'm in.....  but what does it mean?

Is there a guide to changing the volume levels, I'm no dummy but this isn't easy to work out and I don't want to fudge up my phone.

Which one do I need to change to increase the call volume

Is there any reason he just can't tell us in the thread so we all don't bother him with pm's?

Till then I'll send the PM.  I can't hear squat from my phone.

Good enough.

Well I got the info and made my phone louder (at least a little).

I'll play with it more tomorrow when things are noisy and see how much a difference it made.

great thread, thanks once again Jett!

"*#7465625# -Shows status of the Network, Service Provider, SIM or Corporation lock"

I had a look at this one... network lock just has an option for enabled/disabled....
I have no reason to break my network lock for now, just out of curiosity though;
is it really as simple as just changing it to disabled to allow the phone to be used on another network?
Has anyone been game enough to try changing it? Tongue

there is an 8 digit code you will need from your carrier or from an unlocking svc to disable the network lock....  this is the ONLY way to disable it
