Hello everybody,

I would like to know if WP7 is able to connect by itself to a SyncML server and exchange information with such a server.

For example, Nokia/Sony Ericsson phones are able to automatically change some settings within the phone and then are able to sync (their contact list or calendar) with a SyncML server without any need for a 3rd party application.

Will the Windows Phone 7 come with this functionality? Or will it need a 3rd party application to sync with a SyncML server?

Thanks!

It's sync's with Windows Live, and at the same time also can sync even more contacts with social network sites like your contacts in linked in or facebook.

Although, my sync'ing with Windows Live Contacts has been problematic.  It automatically sync'd (downloaded) all contacts from Windows Live and LinkedIn,  but there are a few contacts missing from (they are on Windows Live on the web and on my PC, but I can't see them on my phone).
