suddenly i cannot download from marketplace

Hello guys,

Suddenly for the last 2 days i cannot download anything from marketplace.
I get the error "can't get this information at the moment. Check again in a little while".
When i try to perform an available update to an application i get the message "the windows live id service is unavailable at the moment. Try again later".

I tried to power cycle the phone, nothing happened.

Any clues?? I refuse to perform a reset to the phone because this is NOT a solution  


EDIT:  Found a solution myself.

I went to the live id webpage and signed in. Then i changed my password.
Then i tried to enter the marketplace from my trophy. Had no problem to access the marketplace but i got the usual error message when trying to download something.

Then i tried to go to settings--email & accounts--and synchronised the windows live account. Then it required a new password, i entered it, tried to enter marketplace, tried to download something and...success!

Thanks Cpt! My HD7 was driving me nuts and your fix lead to my fix. I did not take it as far to reset the password on my live account but I forced a sync from the account menu as you suggested and the downloads completed to installs. This was after a couple days of trouble. Prob would have fixed itself with a background sync of win live account and i never would have known what fixed it. Thanks again.

you must be really unlucky or im the lucky one....   ive had the occasional crash of marketplace...   maybe 6 since i got the phone...(first day drop)  you see one thing above posted that helps plus theres the  make sure the cookies are enabled on the phone...   sometimes theres a problem with an update not updating right , but that seems to be a dev problem.  solution there is delete the app and reinstall it...it updates..
