The Device Manager for windows looks like a great idea. And from what i read on his site it appears to work with locked / unmoddified windows phone 7's which is good.

Hopefully there will be an option during install to not include shell integration (right click context windows offering option to send to phone). Because other then that this program looks perfect already feature wise.

Here are some screen shots of just a few things took while performing some of the tasks that the beta has, as this is still a beta program, and will soon be released to the public after all the beta's are tested and he get's all the bugs worked out and the parts that are not implemented as of now in the beta's. So for Julien to complete the program He needs just a little bit more time, but not to much. This will be a flawless program that will allow you to do just about anything that comes to mind with a windows 7 device. It is gonna be the perfect program with the features of a all in one tool that we are now using 4 or 5 tools  if not more to accomplish the tweaks and mods that we are doing and using compared to what the feature's of Windows Device Manager is gonna offer to the Newly arising WINDOWS PHONES Grin

Because he was getting hundreds of emails from people asking him to send them WP Device Manager so they can continue to use pirated applications, and because there will be a short term solution for homebrews, Julien decided not to include his jailbreak tool. He respect's the other developers and  don’t want to be responsible for piracy, He wish's to be involved in the official homebrew support on Windows Phone. There will be an official way to unlock devices without compromising security or IP

ME and Kawgirl will keep you posted on when the release to the public is out and ready for download...its not gonna be to much longer till you all will have touchexperience on all devices, and Windows Phone Device Manager on your computer.

To those who don't have an unlocked device and to those that have their device unlocked, I suggest you don't install the update until we have a solution for homebrew apps. After all WP Device Manager and TouchXperience offer much more features than just copy/paste!
I would rather have my options to be able to do as i want with my phone. MS's "nodo" doesn't hold my attention not one bit, after all Windows Phone Device Manager will have the copy/paste in the next release.

To those that are wondering when its gonna be available with a public release, i would say in the next couple weeks. Schaps is working hard on this program to be able to make everyone happy with no bugs or issues with the compatibility of all devices.

I will update my WP7 as soon as the update is available. I just hope that the device manager also works with the new update. Although nodo does not bring any functionality other than the copy/paste, it will make things work faster. Moreover, you may need it for the Mango update which will bring more functionalities such as IE9 and so on...
